Partner, Global Head of Private Markets and Real Assets Strategy, Co-CEO of KKR Private Markets Equity and Co-CEO of KKR Private Equity Conglomerate
Alisa Amarosa Wood (New York) joined KKR in 2003 and is a Partner of the firm. She leads the Global Private Markets and Real Assets Strategies Group within the Client and Partner Group, looking after key product areas including private equity, infrastructure, energy real assets, impact, growth equity, real estate equity and credit, and customized products. She is also Co-CEO of KKR’s democratized private equity business. Ms. Wood chairs the firm’s Strategic Business Approval Group and is a member of a number of the firm’s management and leadership committees. She has been actively involved in the firm’s global capital formation and business development efforts, including the creation of new strategies, new products and strategic initiatives across the KKR platform. She also previously sat on the firm’s Inclusion and Diversity Advisory Committee for a number of years. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Wood was with Deutsche Bank’s Private Equity Group. She holds a B.A. from Columbia College and an M.B.A from Columbia Graduate School of Business. Ms. Wood is currently the Vice Chair of the Columbia College Board of Visitors and the Vice Chair of the Convent of the Sacred Heart Board of Trustees. She also sits on the Columbia Business School Private Equity Board, the Sloane Hospital for Women’s Advisory Committee, the PE-WIN’s (Private Equity Women Investor Network) Steering Committee, the Nantucket Historical Association Board of Trustees and the Public Theater Board of Trustees. She was named by the Wall Street Journal as one of the “Women to Watch” in 2020 and names by Private Equity International as one of the “Women of Influence in Private Equity” in 2022.
